This illustration series celebrates the local peaks of Pine, Bailey, and Conifer, Colorado, this beautiful place that I'm lucky to call home. Colorado’s a big place, with lots of iconic views, and I’d love to see the local peaks celebrated more.

According to the locals I spoke with, these are the six peaks that remind them of home the most when they spot them on the skyline. 

After creating drawings of each mountain, I added typography to craft them into prints, stickers, and postcards. 

Vintage-style typography adds some personality to the Local Peaks Series sticker designs, which were created with a custom die cut to emphasize the type.

I was inspired by vintage postcard designs when creating the back of the Local Peaks Series postcards. Hand-drawn spot illustrations combine with distressed typography to imitate the imperfections of analog printing methods.
